Communications Survival Strategies for Industrial Wireless Control

نویسندگان

چکیده

Industrial wireless control systems are mainly designed on the premise of time-sensitive ultra-reliable low-latency communications (URLLC). With introduction survival time to quality service requirements such systems, design paradigm has evolved from typical link reliability (i.e., minimizing packet error rate), availability, that is, chance burst errors, which can cause loss communication for longer than time. In this article, we address implications evolution and present a set strategies guarantee end-to-end dependable industrial control. To ensure transmissions divided into normal modes. The presented include scheduling adaptation target differences between these modes operation, traffic prioritization enhance availability users in mode, more efficient multi-node, multi-path, multi-carrier techniques.

Efficient Wireless Communication System for Industrial Communications

IEEE 802.15.4 is a global standard designed for the low power consumption, low cost, and low data rate. Thus, this standard is advantageous to implement ubiquitous sensor network (USN). However, researchers do not have been studied to employ cooperative communication in this system. Cooperative relaying system has been shown to help the destination to get the spatial diversity. It is possible t...

Cooperative Strategies for Wireless-Powered Communications

Radio frequency (RF) energy transfer and harvesting has been intensively studied recently as a promising approach to significantly extend the lifetime of energy-constrained wireless networks. This technique has a great potential to provide relatively stable and continuous RF energy to devices wirelessly, it thus opened a new research paradigm, termed wireless-powered communication (WPC), which ...

Call admission control for wireless personal communications

Call admission control (CAC) in future wireless personal communication systems is to simultaneously achieve quality-of-service satisfaction and high resource utilization. It poses significant technical challenges due to scarce radio spectrum, user mobility, hostile wireless propagation environment, end-to-end connectivity, and dynamic nature of multimedia traffic. This paper aims at providing a...
